Kenting, What to see & do?

Kenting is located at in the southernmost point of Taiwan Island; and the area is a popular travel destination that has more than a few nice beaches or local food markets – there are a lot more things to see and do!

Mini-Kyoto: Kurashiki

While Kyoto is simply irreplaceable, I had sweet moments walking in “mini-Kyoto” – Kurashiki, Japan, during the cherry blossoms season. Our first sight of the canal area was stunning – just like we were in a movie set of an old Japanese movie. I could imagine the canal would look much more vibrant when the willow on both sides of the canal turns green.

It was the first time that I saw Sakura at night and the serenity and tranquility of the garden even calmed me more. Back home, as I flip through the photos the Sakura was illuminated from the complete darkness, as if a postcard with special printing effects on the flower…

Aso, Boy!

Mount Aso is Japan’s biggest active volcano. We might have changed our plans few times, but Mount Aso had always remained as our “must-see” highlight in our Kyushu trip itinerary.

Another amazing find would be the hot-spring resort in Minami (Southern) Aso that has INDIVIDUAL, OUTDOOR, IN-ROOM, PRIVATE hot spring at an amazing price that’s hard to believe!!
