My impression of Helsinki: compact, cultural, clean and cool. I stayed in the city for a few days in winter, yet I found the city was welcoming and charming. Helsinki’s city center is compact and easy to navigate, while tourists could basically go anywhere on foot. Helsinki Museum Collage .14

I heard a lot of “compact”, “stylish”, “cultured” when people are talking about Helsinki. Still, it seemed challenging to visit all museums on the list within 48 hours. Here are my recommendations of the 7 museums that I saw and it sort of explained how the “compact”, “stylish” and “culture” keywords are translated into the Finnish lives.

Chasing the Magic Lights

Northern lights are just a dream. Viewing the lights during the peak season Finland was on the top of my list mostly – there are direct flights from my hometown to Helsinki, closeness to the Arctic Circle, and state-of-the-art facilities and infrastructure. After my amazing trip to the Arctic Circle, I would like to share 4 afterthoughts and 8 photo-taking tips with you.
