Underneath the Stars: Lake Tekapo

Underneath the Stars: Lake Tekapo

Lake Tekapo has a UNESCO Dark Sky Reserve that makes stargazing a unique experience. There on Mount John Observatory, I observed the Southern Cross, supernova, Milky way, Nebula, and Alpha Centauri… and I was left in wonder.

Christchurch, Reviving.

Christchurch, Reviving.

Visiting Christchurch: Staying in an alpaca farm and take the historic tram in the city center. Known as the “Garden City” to the world, the city enjoys warm weather, abundant sunshine, flower beds, and an expansive Botanic Garden – until it was devastated of being the epicenter of a 2011 earthquake. I witnessed how the city is being restored and it’s recovering.
