As a city person, I’ve always found solace in the hustle and bustle of urban life, but it’s nature that truly rejuvenates my soul. There’s something about the vastness of the great outdoors – whether it’s standing by the cliff the Grand Canyon, listening to the sound of the ocean of the Cancun Beach, or walking through a quiet forest of Sintra – that puts life into perspective. Nature reminds me of how small we are in the grand scheme of things, and how important it is to pause, breathe, and take it all in. Traveling allows me to do just that, giving me the chance to recharge before diving back into the fast-paced rhythm of everyday life.

This blog is also about the connections we make along the way. Traveling with friends has strengthened bonds and created memories that we still talk about today. Spending time with family away from the usual distractions has brought us closer, and I cherish those moments. I’ve met incredible people from all walks of life, and I’ve learned that travel isn’t just about where you go – it’s about the people you meet and the experiences you share.

Over time, Knycx Journeying has grown into a community of like-minded travelers. I never set out to quit my job and become a full-time traveler; instead, I found a way to balance my love for travel with my career. While many travel blogs focus on turning wanderlust into a career, I’m not here to offer a roadmap to quitting your job and traveling the world on a shoestring budget. My approach is different – it’s about enjoying the journey, finding time to explore, and sharing those experiences with others, regardless of your budget or lifestyle.

For me, travel is about broadening horizons, learning something new, and creating memories that last a lifetime. From skydiving from 14,000 feet to hiking glaciers, from riding elephants in the wild to diving into the ocean’s depths, these once-in-a-lifetime experiences are the moments that remind me of the beauty and unpredictability of life. Through my travels, I’ve learned the importance of being open to change, embracing new challenges, and constantly seeking out new adventures.
