I visited Iceland in August and the best thing about visiting Iceland in summer (except missing the chance to catch the northern lights) was that the sun (almost) never goes down. That’s why I had a 12-hour day touring the Highland Road & Golden Circle: Þingvellir, Gullfoss & Geysir.
