My impression of Helsinki: compact, cultural, clean and cool. I stayed in the city for a few days in winter, yet I found the city was welcoming and charming. Helsinki’s city center is compact and easy to navigate, while tourists could basically go anywhere on foot. Here is a 2-day easy going itinerary of the major attractions in Finland’s Daughter of the Baltic.

The Lake District, actually (to me), doesn’t have many “one-of-a-kind”, unique, or iconic attractions compared to any other English towns in England; however it has a subtle beauty and a poetic quality that inspired countless artists, poets, writers, and basically everyone who visited the region or called it home. The artists have made a concerted effort and made this place romantic.
The three must-sees in Bohol, Philippines: Adorable tarsier, Loboc river cruise with music, and Chocolate Hills.
Comprised of over 7,500 islands (where 2000 of them are inhabited), the Philippine archipelago is full of surprises.
