Going on vacation? The SIN CITY is home to dazzling landscapes, magical dunes, thrilling wildlife, and sensational desert skies. In short, every Vegas vacation is a potential adventure of a lifetime.

But then, it’s all about how you prepare, plan, and execute. To get the best desert experience in Vegas, you want to know all the most thrilling things to do. There’s so much fun—unconventional fun—that makes 42.5 million tourists travel to Vegas each year. It’s no wonder it’s called The Entertainment Capital of the World or Sin City. “What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.”

So, if you’re an adventure junkie, this is the best place to be. And what’s more? Every time of the year is a great time to visit Vegas. However, if you’re not down for some scorching sun, March to May (Spring) and September to November (fall shoulder) prove to be the best times as they offer moderate weather. This already sets you up for a most remarkable vacation — the ultimate Vegas experience.

So come along, and get yourself set for a fun-filled vacation in one of the most visited tourist spots in the world.

Get an adrenaline burst with a dune buggy Las Vegas

Indeed, you haven’t visited Vegas if you haven’t ridden a Dune Buggy. Desert ATV rentals have become symbolic of vacations to this awe-inspiring city, and rightly so. Rev the engines, splash the sand dunes in the midday sun, and feel the adrenaline boil up in you.

But don’t get limited by having a tour guide with you who you always have to follow gently in “follow the leader.” To get the most ultimate desert experience, rip through the sand in a dune buggy Las Vegas guide-free, meander through the fiery red mountains, and feel the rush of absolute freedom. Make your heart pace, and you’ll surely have stories of bravado to tell when you get back home.

Never forget your camera

For whatever reason, do not forget your camera on your Las Vegas tour. There’s so much to capture, and you’ll understand when you get there. Spectacular mountains, steep valleys, sky-high dunes, and exciting nightlife make some of the fascinating points in Las Vegas. But as you walk about, you’ll surely see how boisterous life can be here, and the best way to remember those weird thrills is to take shots of them.

But even more importantly, do not forget to capture the moment when on your dune buggy in Las Vegas, cutting through the wind and sand. If you could fix up the camera to the ATV to take auto shots at intervals, do so. Or else, get the device out and just fire away regardless of how much focus you can get while in high motion. Feel the adrenaline rush in the blur of the photograph.

Take a Wild West sunset horseback ride

The sunset offers one of the most magical moments in Las Vegas. But that doesn’t mean you can’t start your day with a horseback ride. See a different side of Las Vegas in the mornings and evenings on the back of a horse. You’d go with a cheerful cowboy who’s ready to chit-chat about any and every activity or sight you come across on your expedition. Return home to a heartwarming breakfast or dinner, or dine out in an authentic Western style. Again, do not forget your camera as you’ll be riding through the same trails used by world-famous outlaws of old. Spot roadrunners and jackrabbits scampering across the trails from one bush to the other.

One of the best reasons to take the wild west horseback ride is the serenity it brings, something you don’t usually see in the day-hours of Las Vegas. So if you want to avoid crowds and see another side of Las Vegas, the Wild West horseback ride would make a most suitable adventure.

Visit the Fountains of Bellagio

If you have a keen eye, you’d immediately notice that the waters at the fountains of Bellagio are the same dancing waters you often see in Hollywood movies. Just as beautiful as they are in the movies, they never cease to impress in person.

The dancing fountains of Bellagio are one of the most popular attractions in Las Vegas. If you love sightseeing, then this is one place you really must go to have a wholesome Vegas experience. The fountain erupts every half hour in the afternoon and every 15 minutes from evening till midnight.

Dine at the Peppermill

As most tourists would say, if you haven’t dined at The Peppermill, you haven’t really been to Las Vegas. There are so many places to eat great food in The Sin City, but the classic diner and lounge at The Peppermill are on a whole different level.

Party dip into the night, settle for late-night omelets, and sit around fire pits with fruity cocktails in hand. If you’ve had a pretty uneventful day, you’ll surely feel your spirits come alive right at the Fireside Lounge at the back half of the building.

Surf at Planet Hollywood

Although Las Vegas is synonymous with desert adventures, there’s no shortage of water fun. Any tourist with a heart for surfing and diving can enjoy the wave simulation at FlowRider, a scene pool deck on Planet Hollywood’s rooftop. Even if you’re a novice snowboarder, you can still enjoy the waves as they’re safe, a marvelous technology to behold. You could either surf actively or lay back and wade in the resort pool with a cocktail in hand.

Indeed, there are so many things that make a trip to Las Vegas worthwhile: the thrilling desert adventure, wondrous sights, and nightlife, not to mention the magnitude of adult fun. This is a state where gambling is legalized, and the fact it’s called the Entertainment Capital of the World is enough to get one packing up in a hurry and heading straight to the airport

In as short as three days in Vegas, you’d have had the experience of a lifetime. But remember, what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.
