Frozen: Niagara Falls

Sure, the district would look much more lively and energetic during summer time, it does not necessarily mean it is a bad time to visit the fall. It has another kind of snowy charm at Christmas.

img_9448Canada is my memory lane… and it was a frozen one.

We went to Niagara Falls and it was just… cold. The district was still in operation, the streets were deserted and quiet. Sure, the district would look much more lively and energetic during summer time (as most visitors would like to see the spectacular waterfall at its best), it does not necessarily mean it is a bad time to visit the fall. It has another kind of snowy charm at Christmas (and maybe, again, not many would get to see). Sightseeing tour is closed due to the weather (i.e. It’s not a good time to take a boat ride, reach the bottom of the waterfall and get drenched), visit the Winter Festival of Lights to feel the festive cheer! Or, enter a haunted mansion and have a good scream… (as we did :P)
